COMMERCIAL

Renewable energy is crucial for any corporation to offset dependency on electricity, natural gas, or oil. The ability for a business to harness the full potential of solar thermal energy to heat buildings and water, not only helps lower costs, but also reduces the amount of harmful emissions produced.

The SolarBeam was built on the same principals as the Solar One solar-thermal government project built in the Mojave Desert, CA. SolarBeam uses concentrated solar power (CSP) technology that utilizes a reflective parabolic mirror to collect solar energy by concentrating the suns energy onto a focal point to produce a high amount of heat. Our engineers designed the SolarBeam as a durable, rugged, and most importantly, affordable commercial unit.

img7The SolarBeam is ideal for all commercial and industrial applications. Its solar hot water system is perfect for any application that requires high amount of hot water such as:

  • Bottling plants
  • Hotels
  • Apartment buildings
  • Greenhouses
  • Paper-mills
  • Desalination
  • Laundromats
  • Aquatic centers
  • Breweries
  • Hospitals

Remember, that when you are able to track the sun continuously you will be focusing the sun’s intensity 100% of the time. Your efficiency increases significantly compared to standalone evacuated tube technology or photo-voltaic panels.

FUTURE OPTIONS

Air Conditioning: Not only does the SolarBeam provide up to 13 kW of heat per hour, the system can be used in conjunction with an absorption chiller for air conditioning. The absorption chiller uses the heat generated by the  Concentrator to heat a refrigerant which in turn, removes the heat. Efficient absorption chillers require water of at least 88 °C (190 °F). Since the SolarBeam uses a patent pending tracking system, the system will always maintain the desired water temperature and will never exceed the temperature required.

Electricity: The SolarBeam stands out as the first ever solar concentrator to produce up to 4kW kW of electricity from a single system. Using the latest concentrated photovoltaic technology, the system will be able to produce 4kW on the concentrator surface that is 10”x10”. Seems unbelievable? No other solar hot water heater or thermal heater can match the SolarBeam.

EXPANSION CAPABILITIES

As your facility or application requires more thermal hot water, additional SolarBeam Concentrators can be added to your facility. The expansion possibilities are endless. Our company will train installers in your area to install and service the SolarBeam. You will always have the assistance of a local representative to expand your solar hot water system.
